This originally aired on PBS in the 1980s featuring a poorly made up vampire host to introduce and discuss. Might be one of the best short length Halloween animations ever created. Terrific illustrations.
About the song: Danse macabre, by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, was an art song for voice and piano (first performed in 1872) with a French text by the poet Henri Cazalis which is based in an old French superstition. Two years later, the composer expanded and reworked the piece into a tone poem for orchestra, replacing the vocal line with a solo violin. The rest, they say, is history. Enjoy!

Dead Sara - Weatherman - (Music Videos - Live and Studio Versions)
Music Television is very pleased to present the hard rocking group known as Dead Sara and two different videos for Weatherman, including the official studio version music video and a live version filmed by "Live at Sunset Sessions".
The band consists of Emily Armstrong on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Siouxsie Medley on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Sean Friday on drums and backing vocals.
Weatherman is track #3 from Dead Sara's eleven song, self titled, debut album released on their own indie imprint known as Pocket Kid Records. Since this post was originally written, Dead Sara and Pocket Kid Records are now in the major label league with Atlantic Records.
