LYRICS Tell me it's all in my head cause I'm keeping to myself and you're looking at me sideways Some things are hard to forget And I’d just put it to bed, yeah, that's if I had it my way
And now it's coming back around again Another story that you wrote me in I wasn't looking for a way to win I was just waiting for the plot to end Whatever happened to a fresh start? Oh, maybe civil is a lost art cause now you're looking at me sideways
Can we just put it to bed? cause you're looking at me sideways so fine
Gettin' it off of your chest Yeah, you've always been the one, one to put mе back in my place (So) And I could’ve settlеd for less You know, we'd save a lot of time if you said it right to my face
And now it's coming back around again Another story that you wrote me in I wasn't looking for a way to win I was just waiting for the plot to end Whatever happened to a fresh start? Oh, maybe civil is a lost art cause now you're looking at me sideways

Lyrics for Kula Shaker - Lucky Number Oh, you’re my lucky number I’m counting on you girl to keep me alive Oh, my magical number My reason to live for, my reason to die You’re my lucky one!
Don’t ask me why my car was late God was talking to me through the number plates. I’ve got ten green bottles, and thirty three crows We’re all playing parts in a picture show
Oh, you’re my lucky number I’m counting on you girl to keep me alive Oh, my magical number My reason to live for, my reason to die You’re my lucky one!
Now I’m awake and I can see What those bastards did to me And you can sleep when we are dead Let’s just count the stars instead.
Reason to live for, reason to die Reason to live for, reason to die Reason to live for, reason to die You’re my lucky one!
We’re turning up! My lucky Number! We’re turning up! My lucky one! We’re turning up! Eleven to One! Oh, you’re my lucky number I’m counting on you girl, to keep me alive Oh, my magical number My reason to live for, my reason to die. ----------------------------------------------

Lyrics for Cannons song, Starlight Wait I’ve built a wall I cannot get around I need someone Somebody who can tear it down
Numb from all the pain I’m sinking further down I need the touch Of somebody who can pull me out
Be my starlight Promise me that You’ll never let me down Stand by my side Tell me that You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down
Lost inside the maze No way to get around You’ll be the key You’ll be the one to let me out
Fate I feel the weight It’s holding me down Pushed me around What never was lost Can never be found
Be my starlight Promise me that You’ll never let me down Stand by my side Tell me that You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down
Lift me up don’t let me fall Catch me when I’ve lost it all In the dark be my light Guide me through this endless night
Be my starlight Promise me that You’ll never let me down Stand by my side Tell me that You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down You’ll never let me down

Lyrics for Hollyn's “Aren’t We All" feat. Foggieraw
Verse 1 Somehow, somewhere Along the way Somebody told me I was Worth something Oh oh and I held that close Oh and I held that close
Like canvases Waiting for their paint I sit still Day after day Oh oh And nobody knows Nobody knows
Pre chorus Lately I’ve been Dreaming of what will become of me Lately I’ve been Dreaming, “What will become of me?”
Chorus But aren’t we all? Aren’t we all? Aren’t we all?
Verse 2 The way I’m going Seems to work Then all a sudden My flowers burn
Oh, but don’t lose heart Just keep going You’ve got a lot to share with the world Know in your heart, oh
Pre chorus Lately I’ve been Dreaming of what will become of me Lately I’ve been Dreaming, “What will become of me?”
Chorus But aren’t we all? (Aren’t we all) Aren’t we all? Aren’t we all?
Foggie When I first put that microphone in my hand I felt addicted All my verses flew str8 outta pen they felt enscripted Had a dream I could be a star I didn’t repeat it it felt ridiculous I needed something realistic
It felt like I was Noah’s position And no one would would listen Felt like I was boa constricted and no one would get it Felt like Felt like Felt like Felt like
It felt like Gunna telling on me wasn’t eem going to prison Why you yelling at me God I’m going to listen You sending me to Nineveh you know they going to listen Putting me thru trials and tribulations knowing I’m different
But if everybody's different then no one is different So outta everyone who’s ever existed Is no one that gifted? It could be different if you insist it
Pre chorus Lately I’ve been Dreaming of what will become of me I’ve been dreaming, “What will become of me?”
Chorus Cause aren't we all? Aren't we all? Aren't we all? Aren't we all? Dreaming of what we could be?

LYRICS for ILUKA's song titled Wild West Three weeks ago I thought I’d lost everything The fire came and the vultures were circling I felt this might have been the fight that I don’t win Fuck Hollywood, it’s not like I fit in
I think I’ve found the only wild horse in LA Just like him we both had dreams to escape Two lost souls longing for some open space Least he’s not caught up in the race
Don’t know what I came for To a place meant to break your Spirit so they can take more Of you You start on the cold floor Then rise till your big fall Your struggle becomes folklore Oooh
I let this city take till there was nothing left A desert ain’t the place that you go up against When I let go I found the answers in my chest I hope this choice ain’t one I regret I think I’ll stay a while in the west A while in the west Hope this is wild as it gets
I found a boy who finally puts my heart at ease He’s the type that calls his grandma every week Oh he’s the ride or die that every outlaw needs And now the craving’s got a hold of me
Don’t know what I came for To a place meant to break your Spirit so they can take more Of you You start on the cold floor Then rise till your big fall Your struggle becomes folklore Oooh
I let this city take till there was nothing left A desert ain’t the place that you go up against When I let go I found the answers in my chest I hope this choice ain’t one I regret I think I’ll stay a while in the west (yeah) A while in the west (yeah) Hope this is wild as it gets
Now I’m running On the concrete Got a blue dress Found my heartbeat I got big dreams But no money yet
’Cause there’s lightning in this big town Took my pain and wrote it all down And the streets that I cried in Made a home, god damn I survived it I survived it ---------------

Previously featured on our FreeV site, Music Television is very pleased to present two epic live music videos of one of the greatest emerging guitarists on the scene, Shannon Lauren Callihan, who has a distinct & lovely soul voice and songwriting style.
In the filmed performances below, two separate and very tasty bands back Callihan.
In the first song titled Don't Make Sense, a gospel inspired soul song, it features a great drummer named Nate Felty and a stellar lineup of players, including horns and background vocalists that we don't yet have a listing of.
The second song, titled Try, is backed by "The Pitch Meeting Band" (full credits below), and they cop a tasty soul groove slightly reminiscent in style to timeless classics from Boz Scaggs & Michael McDonald, except the sound is uniquely all Shannon. She certainly is all original.
Shannon Callihan is a breath of fresh air in the world of modern music that too often creates idols out of artificially generated music. Callihan has proven to be about real musicians, always with a tight organic sound that is rare. She is a very independent artist of substance who manages to retain some of the finest session musicians to back her excellent growing repertoire, whether it's live or in the studio.
Shannon Lauren Callihan is the poster child for a new genre that should be called Nashville Soul.

I say peace when I jump on a beat
I say peace when I'm walking the street
(When I'm walking the street...)
I say peace when the sun's in the east
I say peace when I need a release
(When I need a release...)
I say peace when I'm facing the beast
I say peace when I'm taking you deep
(When I'm taking you deep...)
I say peace 'cause I know I'm complete
I say peace
I say peace
P is for the people
E is for the essence
A is for the answers that we get from God's questions
C is for the conscious
E is for the Earth
So everybody gotta stand up and find they worth,
A world divided will often fall to disease and violence
Gotta get through the shame and the silence so we can be united,
Only the righteous will overcome and become enlightened,
Living your life
Loving your self
So let the light in
One Love, One Blood, and One Heart
One People, One World, and One God
We gotta come together united for One Cause
Put your hands up in the air for peace!
(2X)
Peace worldwide starts from inside
We gotta find a better way that we can be (Be!)
Peace worldwide starts from inside
Go 'head and let your mind body soul be free (Free!)
Peace worldwide starts from inside
The answer and solution always starts with me (Me!)
Peace worldwide starts from inside
If you want to save the world,
Be the change you wanna see!
I gotta peace of mind
I gotta piece of paper
About to make a perfect rhyme that the world'll savor
Counting stars gazing past 2011
To 2012 infinity - 777
I hope we make it to heaven on earth
To see our brethren
Come back, resurrected
Bob Marley the Legend
It's One Love
And me and my people are all connected
For world peace
We gotta have a common collective
Martin taught us the lessons
Of how we should be respected and
Gandhi truly embodied the non-violent perspective
Global community unity maybe you and me
Can sit down build upon love 'cause it's what we need
Let's get to farming and feeding the people starving
Across the whole planet
What's going on is alarming
Sustainable living
We don't need their provisions
We can grow it pick it an eat it
That's the world I envision
On a mission to spread peace
All around the world
Like Chase, paint a face
Make a beautiful mural
Africa needs peace
Europe and South America
Asia and Australia
Do you believe in miracles?
'Cause it can happen if everybody would tap in
To all the love in their hearts
And everyone started laughing
Time for action
No time to explain
It takes 6 billion willing people to change
Now imagine if the words of John Lennon would come alive
And every body in the world started to unite
Realize
It ain't far fetched - we can do it
Come together for a cause do it with the music
Use it, take time and pursue it
Dreams and aspirations are all up to you
'Cause everybody in the world wanna get free
And everybody in the world, wants peace!
One Love, One Blood, and One Heart
One People, One World, and One God
We gotta come together united for One Cause
Put your hands up in the air for peace!
