They use the acronym SHEL as the groups name. Together they wrote and recorded the song featured below titled Stronger Than My Fears. SHEL - Stronger Than My Fears

Each of the sisters brings something different and utterly charming to the table. Their wide range of songwriting/arranging, instrumental/vocal skills and overall artistic repertoire, filmed/photographed art and sketched art, fashion and their great sense of lighting has tons of substance. Their songs have original lyrics that suck you inside like T. S. Eliot poems. Their music videos are often like the world of Charlie Chaplin. All of their past music going back at more than ten years is worth digging through. (see links at the bottom of this post).

Music Television is pleased to present the musical quartet known as SHEL, one of the most dynamic, original and organic groups on the planet.

For those not yet familiar with SHEL, it's a group a four sisters (Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza) who long ago tapped into their individual musical genius and then onto their collective genius' as they began to create a great band with real instrumentation and sweet voices and brilliant harmonies (with no auto-tune and very little (if any) production necessary) backed by their impeccable musical poetry and arranging skills. Their studio recordings are in direct alignment as to how they sound when they perform live. And they nail their stuff live, as is evidenced in earlier live and studio recordings which you will find at the links at the bottom of this page. They are truly badass!

As we hit the end of 2013, we have spent these final weeks planning what 2014 is going to be about.

What is the plan for Music Television exactly?

This channel and it's affilates such as The Indies, MusicLoad, The Quiet Storm, and Classic Music Television is about genuine authentic artists who we have focused on year after year... Artists like Gaby Moreno, who this year was finally recognized as "Best New Artist" when she won that Latin Grammy in 2013. And, this channel is about artists of substance like Nneka, perhaps the closest thing to a modern day living female Bob Marley. And Trixie Whitley, whose song Breathe You In My Dreams should be considered song of the year by any and all music organizations worth a darn. Fantastic organic groups like SHEL is what this company is about. Great pop/rock groups like Saucy Monky and amazing artists like Dom La Nena. And, there is no way I can forget to mention the fabulous Lianne La Havas.... Sorry I can't think of any male artists or groups to plug at this moment. Perhaps this was the year of the great female artists!
